579,768 viewers. Course Transcript - I have a birthday invitation that I'm creating in Microsoft Word for Mac 2016.
A birthday should be a festive occasion, and this invitation looks a little lacking, so let's add an image to it. To add an image in Word 2016 for Mac, I can change to the Insert ribbon tab, and select Picture. The choices I'm given are Photo Browser for iPhoto, or Picture from File, to browse my computer. You'll notice that there's no option for an online image, or Clipart. In fact, even if I click the Media link, I just see a movie and an audio.
Microsoft recently did away with the ability to add Clipart. In fact, now you can add an online image by doing a Bing search.
However, you can't do it in the Mac Client. I'm going to show you a workaround for that.
With a few extra clicks, we can save this document to OneDrive, open it in the Word Online version, in which we can add an online image, and then edit it back in the Desktop Client. I'm already logged into OneDrive here on this Mac computer, and I did. Watch this course anytime, anywhere.
